These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of DriveWise Zim. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
The service
DriveWise Zim is an independent educational study aid for practising road theory, signs, diagrams, and mock exams related to Zimbabwe learner / provisional driving preparation. It is not an official government exam or licensing service.
No affiliation
DriveWise Zim and its operators are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Vehicle Inspection Department (VID) of Zimbabwe, the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe (TSCZ), or any ministry or official examiner. Official Highway Code and VID guidance always take priority over app content.
Eligibility and account
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt fraud, or violate these Terms.
Educational use only
Content is for personal study. Completing quizzes or mock tests does not grant a licence or prove you have passed any official VID theory or practical exam. Practice scores are indicative only and do not guarantee exam success.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse engineer or scrape content at scale, interfere with other users or our systems, upload unlawful or harmful material, or use the App while driving.
Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a paid premium subscription billed through Paynow (for example EcoCash or card). Prices are shown in the App before you pay. Payments are processed by Paynow. Access continues until the subscription expires or is otherwise ended according to the plan you purchased. Taxes or mobile-money fees charged by your provider are your responsibility.
Intellectual property
The App, branding, questions, diagrams, theory text, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal study. You may not copy or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. Content may contain errors or outdated information. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will ensure you pass any official examination.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DriveWise Zim and its operators are not liable for exam outcomes, licence decisions, traffic offences, accidents, data loss, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App.
Third-party services
The App relies on third parties (including Supabase and Paynow). Their terms and availability are outside our full control. Demo videos and images are for learning illustration only.
Changes and termination
We may change features, prices, or these Terms. Material changes will be posted at this URL or notified in the App. We may discontinue the service or your access where reasonably necessary (for example abuse or legal reasons).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
